【Abstract】In the context of new media technology, the mode of communication, to some extent, deconstructs the traditional journalism professionalism. In addition, mainstream media such as People's Daily have to abandon the background investigation of news due to their excessive pursuit of the Zero differential in news reporting, which leads to frequent scandals of news inversion. The People's Daily's blessing on the love affair between a female nurse who devoted herself in the battle of COVID-19 and a male soldier is one of the typical cases. In this event, the People's Daily and other mainstream media haven’t verified the information deeply in order to shape the nurse Yu Xinhui a perfect image, which leads to the high public's expectations. Therefore, the shock brought by the negative information such as marital infidelity has become stronger. This paper will take this incident as an example to analyze the loopholes in the information selection and verification mechanism of mainstream media by case analysis, and analyze the reasons for the loopholes and solutions.

2020年4月25日，央视军事刊登一篇名为《单身兵哥哥快出现！援鄂护士小于姑娘想当军嫂》的报道，文章叙述了“95后”护士于鑫慧，以军人为榜样，逆行武汉抗击疫情，在隔离点坚守55天的故事，在报道中于鑫慧还表达了自己的心愿：“我想嫁给兵哥哥，想成为军嫂”。
2020年4月26日，中国新闻网等多家媒体纷纷对央视军事的稿件进行转载，并高调为于鑫慧“征婚”。
2020年10月10日，人民日报、新华社等多家主流媒体在新媒体平台上发布《全网祝福！那个想嫁“兵哥哥”的抗疫女护士如愿了》等相关报道，在文章中对于鑫慧的援鄂事迹再次进行报道，并对其与军人王林订婚给予了祝福。
然而，2020年10月12日前后，有网友爆出“于鑫慧早已结过婚”的消息，后经调查发现于鑫慧“离婚纠纷”案件开庭时间为2020年7月21日，即央视军事等媒体为其“征婚”时于鑫慧还处于已婚状态；除此之外，于鑫慧的订婚对象王林也被爆出“以不雅照片威胁前女友分手”的丑闻。随后，又有中国裁判文书网上的文件表明，于鑫慧因欠债在1月份被冻结银行账户、列入失信名单。
2020年10月14号，南通卫健委证实，于鑫慧没有护士资格证，也不是医护人员。武昌区卫健委也表示其登记的志愿者中没有于鑫慧的名字。至此，于鑫慧从“神坛”跌落，各大主流媒体的官方媒体也纷纷悄然删稿。
